In Lore, he worked for the Orlesian Army as a commander, so he would've learned it. As a character, him fighting as a noble knight adds a lot to the reveal. The Iron Bull - Reaver. ron Bull actually says that he doesn't drink dragon blood, but he can smell it on the Inquisitor and all Qunari use a "similar technique".
The problem with most of the specializations is that they eventually reach a point where they have one or two abilities that are so overpowered, that there isn't much reason to use anything else and it gets a bit boring. All the specializations are fun at first but lose steam after a while. For rogues, my favorite is a DW assassin. Reaver is a warrior specialization in Dragon Age: Inquisition. With the Reaver specialization, your warrior turns the chaos (and pain) of battle to their advantage with a series of powerful (and potentially dangerous) offensive oriented abilities. This is a high-risk/high-reward discipline, since most of the abilities benefit the warrior when their health is low, but the battle prowess given

You can collect all 3 but only unlock 1 of them. The books are at the bookstore if you did not unlock the character. If you did just check around where they hang out or sleep in skyhold. imitebmike 8 years ago #8. there will be a wartable mission call "specialization for the inquisitor" on the ferelden side of the map. For the specialization in other games, see Assassin (Origins) and Assassin (Dragon Age II). Assassin is a Rogue specialization in Dragon Age: Inquisition. Any rogue can kill a target, but assassins make death into an art form. They specialize in quick, deadly kills that let them slide back into the shadows undetected, or indirect kills that eliminate targets while the assassin is safely away
I've always loved playing 2h warrior in the dragon age series, and have always been what I've gone vack too. But I honestly found Sword & board tank more enjoyable in DAI, the abillity to control the battlefield, blocking hits with shield wall (one of the best additions to tanking in DaI, so rewarding!) while being almost unkillable if you build it correctly.
Unfortunately, you can cannot change your specialization once the appropriate quest has been completed. Roninzeta 9 years ago #2. Most of the specs have not been revealed in full. We've gotten a good look at KE, Artificer, and Necro, as well as some skills from Templar and Reaver. Southern_Boss 9 years ago #3. Assassin , always go assassin as a rogue if I can. Zombies_Online 9 years ago #4. Templar. Because f*** mages. iZYJS.
