Beingable to regenerate health with medicine not only doesn't make much sense in the lore, it's also ridiculously overpowered. In the games with regenerating health (AC1, AC3, Liberation,BF, Rogue, Syndicate), it only regenerates outside of combat. When in combat, it either regenerates so slowly it's useless, or it doesn't regenerate at all.
