Both parts of the plug seem to be there, i'm just trying to find a wiring diagram for the plug (I can't be bothered to go out with a multi-meter to work them out with the colder weather

Second, the steering wheel control problems may well be unrelated to anything other than those controls themselves - they have been known to 'go bad', especially on older/higher miles cars due to crud from spills, crud from just poor housekeeping
Ford Mondeo - immobilser active and engine fault - elekie&a/c doctor : When the battery runs flat or the voltage is too low,the immobiliser loses its synchronistion with the engine electrics.You will need somebody with the corect diagnostic equipt to access the body control module to clear the fault codes.There is no other way to fix this.You will probably find the electric windows do not work
